Some of our customers specify only 10% or 20% mooney testing of batches. But we insist on 100%, as a measure of abundant care. Similarly, in accelerated compounds, we do 100% rheometry, simultaneously with processing, so that any batch tending to go out of spec could be immediately corrected, and recurrence prevented in other batches.

There is a great amount of interest and effort going into the development of new recipes, and processes for streamlining of production, at Trident. The custom-compounding of rubbers being the main area of interest, we put in our best efforts at making compounds that give the most trouble-free processing at each customer’s plant. In this scheme of things, customer feed-back holds a very prominent place in the Trident QMS. We respond to the individual requirements of each customer, according to the types of machines and processes that they have, with utmost care.

To help us in serving our customers, we have a laboratory equipped with all basic rubber testing machines like Mooney Viscometer, Rheometers, Hardness Testers, Tensile Testers, and Specific Gravity apparatus. Apart from batch-wise testing for Mooney and rheometry, we conduct periodical analysis of results obtained in various compounds, and convey them to our customers with our suggestions, to enable them to arrive at better recipes in terms of specifications, performance and economy.

We are fully aware of the fact that it is not only the machines themselves, but the attitude of the men behind the machines that ensure the best quality. Trident has a system of imparting quality awareness, and assessing training requirements as well as providing the required training, to all its employees. The results of such training are measured and compared through an yearly competency index of the key personnel.
