| Trident masterbatches and compounds are currently exported to the Pacific, and to the European and Middle East countries. Customer loyalty at Trident is the result of competitive pricing, quality of compounds that exceeds the specifications, good reporting and presentation, promptness of delivery, and above all transparency in all our dealings.
The process of supply starts with our quote on a recipe for a masterbatch or compound given by the potential customer. Sometimes we are given only the specifications, leaving us to formulate the recipe and quote.
Upon acceptance of the quote, a prototype is manufactured, keeping a record of all the ingredients and their vendor source. This sample masterbatch/compound is couriered along with a quality report showing all the relevant test results.
A purchase order follows from the customer, the terms of which are confirmed in writing.
A pilot batch is mixed and the quality report is faxed/emailed to the customer. An “OK to Release” is obtained from the customer, and the processing runs follow only thereafter.

While processing the order, the same ingredients from the same vendor source are used as in the prototype. Mixing parameters are fixed with reference to the prototype, and are recorded during the mixing proper. Each batch is tested for Mooney values. Conversion of masterbatch into compound, and testing for rheometry, hardness, and tensile strength are done at frequencies agreed with the customer. The test reports are supplied to the customer along with the documents covering the dispatch.
Every batch is cooled to room temperature, and only thereafter it is packed and palletized / crated as per agreed packing specifications, conforming to ISPM 15 standards. |
